Hindle have helped engineer or reverse engineer gears and gearboxes for many applications including : motorsport, semi-conductor, defence and mining.
Hindle are currently registered to ISO 9001 2015 awaiting AS9100D certificate to be issued.
We are familiar with many other standards and regularly comply with the requirements of TS16949 & Lloyds register.
Hindle operate within a zero defect environment where root cause analysis results in corrective actions.
Hindle have the capability to reverse engineer any gear or other product that we can measure.
For example: We reverse engineered the original Toyota gearbox on the Evora for Lotus Cars to result in a more sporty gear range.
We offer a design service for our customers often working in collaboration with the design centre of Newcastle University.
An example is a gearbox for BAE systems. It was retro-fitted to the Bulldog armoured personnel carrier to add a Hybrid electric drive.
